Idaho Candy Company Taste of Idaho Giveaway Official Rules

NO PURCHASE NECESSARY TO ENTER OR WIN. A PURCHASE DOES NOT INCREASE YOUR CHANCES OF WINNING.

  1. Eligibility. The Taste of Idaho Giveaway (the "Giveaway") is open to legal residents of the State of Idaho who are 18 years of age or older at the time of entry. Employees of Idaho Candy Company and their immediate family members are not eligible. The Giveaway is void where prohibited by law.
  2. Sponsor. The Giveaway is sponsored by Idaho Candy Company, 412 S. 8th Street, Boise, Idaho 83702 ("Sponsor").
  3. Entry Period. The Giveaway begins on Saturday, July 18, 2026 at 12:00 PM MT and ends on Friday, July 24, 2026 at 11:59 PM MT (the "Entry Period"). Entries received outside the Entry Period will not be counted.
  4. How to Enter. During the Entry Period, follow @idahocandyco on Instagram and leave a comment on the official Giveaway post tagging one friend. Each additional comment tagging a different friend earns one additional entry, up to a maximum of 10 entries per person. Tags must be real, active Instagram accounts belonging to people you know. Tagging the same account more than once, tagging celebrities, brands, or inactive accounts, or tagging yourself will not count as valid entries. Entries generated by bots, scripts, or other automated means will be disqualified. Use of multiple Instagram accounts to exceed the entry limit is prohibited and will result in disqualification.
  5. Winner Selection. One winner will be selected in a random drawing from all valid entries on or about Monday, July 27, 2026. Each valid comment counts as one entry in the drawing. The winner must be following @idahocandyco at the time of the drawing to be eligible to claim the prize. Odds of winning depend on the number of valid entries received. All decisions of Sponsor regarding entry validity and winner selection are final.
  6. Prize. One winner will receive an Idaho Candy Company Variety Pack, 15 count (retail value $31.99), an Idaho Candy Company T-Shirt in the winner's choice of available size and color (retail value $14.99), an Idaho Candy Company Spud Bites 12 oz Tub (retail value $7.59), Idaho Candy Company Burnt Peanuts (retail value $7.59), an Idaho Candy Company Peanut Brittle Tub (retail value $7.59), a Spuddy Buddy Plush Backpack (retail value $39.00), a Top That Tater Duo Gift Set (retail value $32.00), an Electric Mini Seasoning Grinder with 5 settings (retail value $25.00), and a Top That Tater Sticker 3-Pack (retail value $5.00). Total approximate retail value of the prize package is $170.75. The prize is not transferable and no cash substitution is permitted, except that Sponsor reserves the right to substitute a prize of equal or greater value if any item becomes unavailable. The Idaho Potato Commission is not a sponsor of and is not affiliated with this Giveaway.
  7. Winner Notification and Prize Claim. The winner will be notified by direct message from Sponsor's official Instagram account, @idahocandyco, and may be announced in the comments or stories of the Giveaway post. Sponsor will never ask for payment, credit card information, or bank details to claim the prize. The winner must respond to the notification within 72 hours. The prize must be claimed in person at Idaho Candy Company, 412 S. 8th Street, Boise, Idaho, within 14 days of notification during regular business hours. Valid photo identification is required to claim the prize. If the winner does not respond within 72 hours or does not claim the prize within the 14 day window, the prize will be forfeited and an alternate winner may be selected.
  8. General Conditions. By entering, entrants agree to be bound by these Official Rules and the decisions of Sponsor, which are final and binding in all respects. Sponsor reserves the right to disqualify any entrant who violates these Official Rules, tampers with the entry process, or acts in a disruptive or unsportsmanlike manner. Sponsor reserves the right to cancel, suspend, or modify the Giveaway if fraud, technical failure, or any other factor beyond Sponsor's reasonable control impairs the integrity of the Giveaway. The winner is responsible for any applicable taxes.
  9. Publicity. By claiming the prize, the winner grants Sponsor permission to share the winner's first name and Instagram handle in connection with announcing the Giveaway results, without additional compensation, unless prohibited by law.
  10. Release. By entering, each entrant releases and holds harmless Sponsor and its owners, employees, and agents from any and all liability, claims, or damages arising out of participation in the Giveaway or the acceptance, use, or misuse of the prize.
  11. Instagram Disclaimer. This promotion is in no way sponsored, endorsed, administered by, or associated with Instagram. By entering, each entrant completely releases Instagram from any and all liability in connection with this Giveaway. Entrants are providing information to Idaho Candy Company, not to Instagram.
